Refund policy

This Refund Policy explains when entry fees for In Pursuit of Critters competitions are refunded. It should be read together with our Competition Terms and Conditions (https://www.inpursuitofcritters.com/terms/).

1. ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Once you have submitted and paid for an entry, the entry fee is non-refundable, except in the situations set out in section 2 or where required by law.

This includes where:
(a) you withdraw your entry before the end of the Competition Period;
(b) your entry is rejected or disqualified because it does not comply with the Competition Terms and Conditions or the Competition Details; or
(c) your entry does not win or receive an award.

2. WHEN WE WILL REFUND YOUR ENTRY FEE

We will refund your entry fee in full if:
(a) we cancel a Competition before it is judged;
(b) your entry is excluded because the Maximum Participants limit had already been reached when your entry was received;
(c) you were charged more than once for the same entry, or charged an incorrect amount (we will refund the duplicate or overcharged amount); or
(d) a technical fault on our Website prevented your paid entry from being submitted.

3. CANCELLATION RIGHTS

Entry into a Competition is a service relating to a leisure activity provided for a specific period. The 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 therefore does not apply. This does not affect your other statutory rights.

4. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with your name, the email address used for your entry and the Competition you entered. Please contact us within 30 days of the payment.

5. HOW REFUNDS ARE PAID

Approved refunds are made to the card or payment method you used, through our Payment Provider, Stripe. We aim to process refunds within 14 days of approving them. Your bank or card provider may take a further 5 to 10 working days to show the refund.

6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This Refund Policy was published on 29/10/2026. We may update it from time to time. Any changes will not affect entries already submitted.
